Andy Grout, Executive Committee

Andy Grout is succeeded by Arthur Baguley as the Chair of MGI.

In 1993, he was elected as the UK representative of the MGI International Committee and in 2002 was elected as its first Chair.   Having actively participated in the International Committee for 13 years, Andy was elected a member of the MGI Managing Committee in 2005.

Andy qualified with one of the large accounting firms in 1971.  He joined MGI Midgley Snelling, a founding member of MGI, in 1973 and was made a partner the following year.  Andy specialises in international fiscal planning focusing his particular expertise in Australia and the Far East.

To add to his extensive international business experience,  Andy invests considerable time in meetings and discussions with MGI associates worldwide.   He feels passionately that the people of MGI are its strongest asset.  His is also a firm believer that investment of time and energy in MGI are inextricably linked to positive results in both personal and business life.

With the recent adoption of a new strategic plan, the appointment of its first Executive Director and the completion of a successful re-branding, Andy is of the view that this is a particularly exciting time to be leading MGI into a progressive and innovative new era.
